NC REALTOR® Target of Real Estate Scam

After some investigation, it was determined that the check was bogus. In similar reported scams, the buyer backs out a few days later and requests the money to be refunded. In this situation, the attorney was skeptical of the initial check and thankfully caught it before monies were exchanged.
