Reporting Status Changes to the MLS

When? Within 1 business day of either:

  • recordation or
  • contract acceptance

Which Status? When recordation occurs, change to Sold. After contract acceptance, change status to:

  • Pending: Always appropriate whenever a contract is formed.
  • Active-Contingent:Only when a contingent sale addendum is attached. Once the contingency is removed, the status MUST be changed to Pending.
  • Active Due Diligence:Only when the sale is subject to a Due Diligence Period. When the Due Diligence Period end date is reached, the status MUST be changed to Pending. When the Pre-Construction Evaluation Period (Form 800-T) end date is reached, the status MUST be change to Pending.
