Since the 2009 Annual Meeting & Election, your Board of Directors and Building Committee have been diligently working to fulfill the motion which you passed regarding our new building. 
 
Recently, the Building Committee reviewed 9 bids from general contractors. Although the bid from Clancy and Theys Construction Company was the lowest, the Building Committee believed it prudent to send the financial statements of several general contractors to the CPA for his comments.
 
The Committee wanted the Board of Directors to have the clearest reasons possible to accept or reject their recommendation to hire Clancy and Theys.
 
The Board received:

• a report on the bids,
• the Building Committee’s recommendation, and 
• the CPA’s comments about the contractors.

Following a very lengthy discussion, the Board felt most confident that the best general contractor for this project is Clancy & Theys Construction Company and voted to hire them.
