Affordable Housing Coalition
The American Dream of owning a home might come true for more area residents, thanks to a $2,500 contribution to the Affordable Housing Coalition of Southeastern North Carolina made by Wilmington Regional Association of REALTORS® (WRAR) and a $2,500 matching grant awarded by Homes4NC- the North Carolina Association of REALTORS® Housing Opportunity Foundation.
"What a great opportunity for our membership to partner with Homes4 NC in their efforts to provide affordable housing for all of our citizens," stated WRAR President Susan Lacy.
Homes4NC was established to provide safe and affordable housing for all North Carolinians. To accomplish its mission, Homes4NC raises funds from REALTORS® across the state and provides matching grants to nonprofit and public agencies that help low and moderate income families with their housing needs. These grants match funds that have been donated by local REALTOR® associations such as the Wilmington Regional Association.
